  2. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  3. 1 egg, lightly beaten
  4. 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  5. 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  6. 1/4 cup caster sugar
  7. 1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  8. Pinch of sea salt flakes
  9. 3/4 cup dark chocolate melts, halved
  10. 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

  1. Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 30 seconds or until melted. Set aside for 2 to 3 minutes to cool.
